Poem By Rhoda

 When I cry

When I cry no one knows why.

I cry for despair,

terror,

Fear of the world,

In the corner I cry sobbing,

silent snobs,

no love to share,

when I cry no one knows why.

I cry for other people loves,

hope,

joy,

Everyone working in harmony,

It’s just a beautiful sight.

When I cry no one know why.

I cry for hate,

everyone at war,

people getting killed,

suffering pain,

all alone,

a low and painful death.

When I cry now everyone knows why

Assembly

On Wednesday 20th  the School Council had a short assembly to tell the rest of the school about the £200 we can spend on our school.

We also talked about our new School Council Blog. Some children came to use the site  and give us some ideas to improve the blog.

Here are some ideas we have had already.

  • Top tips
  • Dates of school trips
  • Activities
  • Class assembles
  • Fun raising ideas

If you have any ideas pleas leave us a comment and we will add it to our home page.

Jokes

Why do the giraffes have long necks?…  Because they have smelly feet.

Why did the maths teacher throw out all of the tables?…  To make room for the times table.

Why didn’t the skeleton go to the dance?…  Because it had no body to go with.

Why did the one handed man cross the road?…  Because he wanted to go to the second hand shop.

Thank you for reading our jokes from the School Council.

New Changes

Our School has had so many new changes to make our school better  e.g.

  • New Champ Rules
  • Class Rules
  • New Music Teacher
  • A better School Website
  • New Equipment
  • More Fun activities

And so much more…

If you want more info about our school we have a link to our school website (St Peters  School.)

New Champ Rules

St Peter’s School Council have put out some rules for champ by the champ square. We hope this will make the game fair, and help the children to understand the rules. We have also published the champ rules in all classrooms and the school hall.

We held a School Council meeting, and we worked together to come up with some rules that we all thought that are fair. For example, we decided that no slamming is allowed.

Have fun playing champ – play fair!

Welcome!

Welcome to the website for the St Peter’s School Council! We hope to use this site to help share all of the work that our elected Council members have been carrying out. We would also like to get some ideas that other children might have from around the school. You can use the contact page to make suggestions, or come and talk to us at play times!

This website will be written and published entirely by the St Peter’s School Council. We are always on the look out for school news stories that we think will help to make our school even better.

Thank you for taking the time to read our news, and we hope you enjoy the updates that we will be publishing.
